The album “Space in Between” is based on my concept, in which I have collected my favorite compositions written by various modern composers. Most of these compositions are in a mantric and minimalistic style. It is all connected with an ambient and threedimensional “spacey” character.I also built a few of these arrangements with beautiful neoclassic sounding melodies on two instruments a Rhodes and a piano (Manuel de Falla: “Asturiana”, Joaquin Rodrigo: “En Aranjuez con tu amor”).
Between the pieces, we hear sounds of the planets. Even these sounds alone, create a wonderful and unique musical space.I have dedicated one track connecting “atmosphere” from the album to each of the composers. The main hero on this album is, in fact, the piano often prepared and treated with electronic effects. It takes me on a cosmic journey"
The audio recordings from the cosmos (except the last piece - Planet X by Katarzyna Borek & Vojto Monteur) that are found between the songs on this album were recorded by the NASA Space Voyager. NASA has made these recordings available to the public.
Pulsing drones give way to disarming melodies on the new one from Ophtalmologist, with all the deep-sea spookiness the title implies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 22, 2023
